Notary Fee Schedule

Protesting a bill or note for non-acceptance or non-payment, register and seal: $4

• Each notice of protest: $1

Protesting in all other cases: $4

Certificate and seal to a protest: $4

Taking the acknowledgment or proof of a deed or other instrument in writing, for registration, including certificate and seal;

• First signature: $10

• Each additional signature: $1

Administering an oath or affirmation with certificate and seal: $10

Certificate under seal not otherwise provided for: $10

Copy of a record or paper in the notary public’s office (for each page): $1

Taking the deposition of a witness (for each 100 words): $1

Swearing a witness to a deposition, certificate, seal, and other business connected with taking the deposition: $10

Notarial act not provided for: $10

• Mobile notary services from the office are billed at $2.00 per mile (one-way) for travel less than 10 miles. 

• A flat fee of $45.00 applies for travel over 10 miles but less than 20 miles. 

• A $70.00 flat fee applies for travel over 20 miles but less than 30 miles. 

• Any miles over 30 miles are billed at $3.00 per mile.

• Additional charges may apply for after-hours services beyond normal business hours and weekend service.

• A deposit of $30.00 is required when scheduling to guarantee services.
